BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 642. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“Therefore I intend always to remind you of these qualities, though you know them and are established in the truth that you have. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.”

Peter in the bible talks about the present truth that only comes from God and was what they witnessed in their lives as disciples and apostles of Jesus.

The voice of God through the Holy Spirit anchors us.

There were those with the Issachar spirit who were anointed to know the timings of God and how to therefore go along with it.

“Of Issachar, men who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, 200 chiefs, and all their kinsmen under their command.”

Also those who have knowledge so that God can be part of the living solution. To be encountered.

“And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” And he said to me, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment. The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.”

‭‭We are in a present place of feeling some degree of exposure and loss. Where we felt we had worth and value may feel as if it is being eroded away.

The time when we are sensing the prompt to open our hands and let things go. Days of radical transformation. However, God always improves and upgrades.

It is worth weathering the change, temporarily feeling out of our depth as we compute how to operate in and do the new, as it facilitates such a wider field of life.

We and church will become unrecognisable in less than a decade. We need the grace of God to navigate the winds of change and keep up. His gift to us is flexibility to change and to accommodate.

Many are not born into church culture these days and yet we are increasingly feeling provoked to want others transformed by knowing Jesus.

To be anchored into truth.

Our apologetic, diluted attempts of the past may be radically emboldened if we like Daniel speak out truths regardless of being deemed popular or not.

The credibility grows as the truths establish as true.

After Daniel boldly declared the interpretation of the vision of the writing on the wall , he was promoted with a ring and robes and trusted to be telling truths.

Just as Daniel was protected in his purpose I am sure we too will be when we perhaps speak what some do not want to hear.

God will back our boldness. Jesus is the standard of truth. The desire of nations.

There is a deep down hunger for truth planted within us before the creation of the world. It makes us spiritually receptive to it.

Our relationship with Jesus Christ tips us over the edge in boldness. As can we be the catalyst for others too, unlocking a realm of revelation and understanding.

There has been a resistance and reservation about acknowledging a spiritual world and battle but it is real.

We have to engage in the conversation because it is the reality that people know they have issues with and no one trustworthy to turn to.

There is a better way. Where you are and what you are is not the only way.

We can be set free from perversion and captivity. There is another option than the darkness of the world. People want to know the other option.

Jesus had no fear to say what had to be said boldly, courageously and with authority.

That authority He has also given to us. It encompasses bold courageous truth telling.

The illustration shows us robed and ringed in Christ. Protected in our boldness to speak truth and emanate the light pushing back the darkness.

Four Scriptures that come to mind:

“Therefore I intend always to remind you of these qualities, though you know them and are established in the truth that you have. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.” 2 Peter‬ ‭1:12, 21‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“And he who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.” Also he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.” And he said to me, “It is done! BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 641. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among my people, if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Covid was a warning.

The ‘writing on the wall’ for what comes next.

God demands a response from His people.

Our choice in the nation was to go into hiding as instructed by lockdown. We obeyed the political, governmental, world command. The begged question for us people of faith is did we obey God in getting close and seeking Him in prayer?

Walking in obedience of His statutes and seeking him is our liberation from captivity and there is a sense of a limited time, it is the eleventh hour to redeem and turn around His displeasure.

“And as for you, if you will walk before me as David your father walked, doing according to all that I have commanded you and keeping my statutes and my rules, then I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father, saying, ‘You shall not lack a man to rule Israel.’”

There is like a time bomb ticking if we do not hear and heed.

We can fill stadiums with joyous anticipation with sports fixtures in the world but our jealous Gods wants us to fill stadiums with joyous anticipation of meeting and participating in His promises and glory.

A revival of turning again to God. The power comes from our “yes” in the secret place. From that yes He will set the stage differently for each of us as He knows our nature.

“Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit. Then I will teach transgressors your ways, and sinners will return to you.”

We have to be a voice unafraid of speaking out the gospel and the righteous way. To not bow down to all the fear that is rife which the enemy stirs up to rob us of truth and peace.  Worship in the darkest hours brings light and revelation alive.

Where many of the population are bible ignorant, illiterate the move of the Holy Spirit can bring conviction instead.

We have so much to hand on to the next generation it is worth the fight to free them of the confusion and assault of the world and darkness, to bring them Jesus and the kingdom of light.

Those born in the 2000s, called Gen Z, are our hope and must not be lost. Whenever the enemy comes in like a flood God raises the standards. Reality and truth need bringing in to the situation.

A church that tries only to be cool and relevant and blend into popular can loose it’s salt.  Relevance is key but not popularity.

Jesus was controversial.

Our role is not to defend the church and try and make it look good attempting to be popular.

“preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, and exhort, with complete patience and teaching. For the time is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions,”

Our role is to follow Jesus . It is the truth that sets us free. A purpose to make wrong things right. We cannot pervert the promise of what God promises. We must with Him expose what is not from Him. We must take a stand and prepare a way.

“who rules by his might forever, whose eyes keep watch on the nations— let not the rebellious exalt themselves.”

No better to preach freedom than those recovering from captivity. Their relevance is undeniable.

The illustration shows Christ veiled behind the worlds darkness and pestilence outbreak of Covid. His eyes visible to those seeking His face that emanates the light that pushes back the darkness.

Four Scriptures that come to mind:

“When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command the locust to devour the land, or send pestilence among my people, if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles‬ ‭7:13-14‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“And as for you, if you will walk before me as David your father walked, doing according to all that I have commanded you and keeping my statutes and my rules, then I will establish your royal throne, as I covenanted with David your father, saying, ‘You shall not lack a man to rule Israel.’’ 2 Chronicles‬ ‭7:17-18‬ ‭ESV‬‬

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 640. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“For you are a people holy to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.”

We all have such value in the way Jesus sees us.

Never of inferiority or superiority but always of honour.

Through His eyes we are restored to having so much worth it sets us free from lacking confidence in our worth.

Because we belong to Jesus we are honoured from heaven and in the kingdom. Just as Mary sat at Jesus’ feet and washed them in expensive oils and dried them using her own hair, so would heavens company do for us, because their eyes see us, as He does, at our greatest worth.

Gifts, rights and blessings can be bestowed upon those who have honoured and respected.

Just as the story of Ruth and Naomi portrayed and represented restored redemption because Ruth chose to respect and love her mother in law and return, honour and protect her.

It opened her heart to receive redemption and the restoration for generations and enabled value and honour to be rewarded with love and its own kind.

Jesus can break off all insecurity as He reaches out to us in our imperfection, seeing and valuing what we were created to be in His image.

He is the restorer of relationships and losses.

Healing us as He enfolds us and pours Himself into our hearts. As a child of God we have a depth of innate value. We are a chosen possession of God’s and most valuable to Him. He invests His wisdom into us communicated through generations. He lavishes His love upon us. He removes insecurity and what does not belong from our hearts.

We can then stop defining ourselves and others by weaknesses. We know and have faith in our truth and value. His voice is the one we hear that says :

“You are chosen.””You are a royal priest.”” You are God’s special possession.” “You are holy.””You are His prize most special possession.””You are altogether beautiful in His sight.””There is no flaw in you.””You are as beautiful and majestic as an army with banners.””You are the apple of His eye.””God created you in His own image.””You are a citizen of heaven where the Lord Jesus Christ abides and has His reign.”

“But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.”

‘You are the temple of the Holy Spirit.””You were chosen in Him before the foundations of the world.””You are a new creation.””You have been set apart as holy.””You have been loved, protected, surrounded by God who is your strong tower.”

“You are the light of the world.””You are the bride.””You are the lamb’s wife.”

“You are highly esteemed and honoured.”

“Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, declares: ‘I promised that your house and the house of your father should go in and out before me forever,’ but now the Lord declares: ‘Far be it from me, for those who honour me I will honour, and those who despise me shall be lightly esteemed.”

He liberates us but He guards us jealously. He sees us through love and desires us to see others in the same way. He does all things well. He does all things in His perfect timing.

The story in our name will be completed by Jesus as we become an expression of Him and we are therefore honoured.

If we define people by how they are in their weakness we do not honour them. The perfect love of Jesus has to be poured out on all. Then love, value and honour will be restored.

The enemy distorts how we see ourselves and others and has done so through the bloodlines of many generations.

God is restoring the capacity we have to honour and love again.

The illustration shows us in prayer and worship held up in the palms of God’s hands and seen through the lens of the Cross and Christ in us. Emanating light that pushes back the darkness.

Three Scriptures that come to mind:

“For you are a people holy to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.” Deuteronomy‬ ‭14:2‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Therefore the Lord, the God of Israel, declares: ‘I promised that your house and the house of your father should go in and out before me forever,’ but now the Lord declares: ‘Far be it from me, for those who honour me I will honour, and those who despise me shall be lightly esteemed.” 1 Samuel‬ ‭2:30‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“But our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body, by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself.” Philippians‬ ‭3:20-21‬ ‭ESV‬‬

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 639. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.”

Perfectionism can limit and resist the freedom that we are born for. The root under the surface is pride and of not revealing what is broken or less than perfect in our lives or performance.

We can be reminded by the painstaking Japanese art of mending a broken pot visibly with pure gold and it’s value has more worth. There is no attempt to hide the breakage. It is preserved as part of its history not hidden.

Our perfection is not in what we can do but in what Jesus can do. With humility we submit our control to Him the perfect or of all things.

Someone driven by self righteousness is exposing a heart of perfectionism as the elder brother portrayed in the Prodigal Son parable.

He chose to be offended by the celebrations of the younger wayward brother’s return. He chose not to see that he had been in possession of all The Father had, irrespective of his behaviour or striving.

“But he was angry and refused to go in. His father came out and entreated him, but he answered his father, ‘Look, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed your command, yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might celebrate with my friends.”

We can choose bondage again when Jesus has already freed us.

The terms of relationship with God are equal for all of us. He bids us be those who love and rejoice in and for one another.

God stirs up miracles in the pools of tears. Our softness an antidote to any fear of rejection in an imperfection.

His lavish kindness draws true repentance over and above His righteousness.

Pursuing perfectionism makes us incapable of receiving kindness. We do not perceive Him Truly when we consider we have to earn His kindness, love and mercy.

We have already won the prize. It was wondrously given. Love triumphs over everything. Christ’s blood covers everything.

His perfection is enough. We operate in our brokenness but best and it is enough.

A divine exchange.

The illustration shows us as the imperfect, broken pot made beautifully, visibly perfect by the gold of God’s grace and mercy and through His eye, to emanate light that pushes back the darkness.

Two Scriptures that come to mind:

“The Lord passed before him and proclaimed, “The Lord, the Lord, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.” Exodus‬ ‭34:6-7‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“But he was angry and refused to go in. His father came out and entreated him, but he answered his father, ‘Look, these many years I have served you, and I never disobeyed your command, yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might celebrate with my friends.” Luke‬ ‭15:28-29‬ ‭ESV‬‬

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 638. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.”

“Go”. Jesus sends His 12 disciples ahead of Him to prepare a way. He sends 72 off in pairs to different regions to prepare for Him coming.

He sends us out wherever we are to talk about our faith  and prepare a way.

Where those precede Him with faith it must indicate He has been preparing a way, He is about to act.

We pour out our all for Him to pour out His.

The earth is the Lords and everything in it. Where He prepares a harvest we partner in when we are anointed in the Holy Spirit.

Jesus rides in, in glory, where we go ahead of Him.

We like John the Baptist have recognised Him since before birth and know it, like him, to be in our purpose to prepare the way.

“The one who hears you hears me, and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me.” The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!”

Knowing Him is never for us alone. What we receive we give.

It currently breaks our hearts to see media evidence of many aspects of the war with Russia invading Ukraine. Not least is the abundant ripe harvest fields not being harvested or the products of the harvesting not reaching countries that are starving for lack of receiving.

It is a tragedy in the natural. The harvest in the spiritual is equally a tragic waste.

We have to grasp every window of opportunity to bring in the Harvest that God is preparing. It is a round the clock, all hands on deck, urgency.

Achievable and successful only by being dependent upon Jesus. He sends us out and we return with joy.

It is mysteriously knowing our purpose and mission and diving into it  which brings both peace, rest and joy.

“The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!”

There is a constant spiritual battle surrounding us and we are not by chance or coincidence partly involved in our every move word and choices.

We play our part in the transformation and revelation taking place Everyone, everywhere counts

“Nevertheless, do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.””

Our victory comes in living our lives for others as Christ did it takes radical faith which can only be sown by seeds of revelation.

There are fresh seeds placed in our hands now to be sown now, to be planted in fertile soil. Not to be discarded for fear of speaking or reaching out.

In our other hand we may be holding cuttings from a former understanding and they need to be dropped because there is new life to take their place now.

We may have to stop holding on to the familiar but plant the new so that we do not waste the new life.

The illustration shows the harvest fields ready and fresh seeds in the one hand to sow now to bring life as we drop the familiar cuttings in our other hand. Light emanating to push back the darkness.

Four Scriptures that come to mind:

“And he said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the labourers are few. Therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.” Luke‬ ‭10:2‬ ‭ESV‬‬

““The one who hears you hears me, and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me.” The seventy-two returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!” Luke‬ ‭10:16-17‬ ‭ESV‬‬

The song             Every Hour.                   Josh Baldwin

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 637. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.”

Just as in a stained glass picture each chard of glass has its unique shape and colour to contribute to the whole picture and without it the picture is incomplete. So God has His ekklesia His church of distinct believers to surrender to their unique  purpose in the big picture.

His church ekklesia are those whose hearts break that the knowledge of Him remains unrecognised or His purpose unattended to.

He holds out in the palm of His hand what He is ready to resurrect.

He is always moving some things are unresolved where we have deferred our responsibility and He has walked past.

It is our responsibility to be in His path and not deferring in our waiting being impassive and stagnating.

“And when I passed by you and saw you wallowing in your blood, I said to you in your blood, ‘Live!’ I said to you in your blood, ‘Live!’ I made you flourish like a plant of the field. And you grew up and became tall and arrived at full adornment. Your breasts were formed, and your hair had grown; yet you were naked and bare “

Every moment has its opportunity to awaken and activate the identity and plan that is held for us.

If we are in it we have to get up and start moving too just as the blind and the lame by the pools had to take some responsibility as Jesus passed by to defy being left and passed by.

We are not waiting for a move. Jesus is the move. Jesus in His ministry said “I only do what I see the Father doing.”

“So Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son can do nothing of his own accord, but only what he sees the Father doing. For whatever the Father does, that the Son does likewise.”

Divine appointments are what we attract if we have our eyes open to see what He is doing.

Historically there has been certain revelation for certain generations as it has become appropriate and glory manifests in different cycles and levels.

Prophetic insight points to what God is revealing in the current climate to assist us to know what to pray into.

‭‭ “Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint, but blessed is he who keeps the law.”

‭‭We only entertain what we see some personal value and significance in.

If we don’t see ourselves all as ministers in His work we will sit back and leave it to others who we perceive as to having that role.

We have to take on responsibility because we know our value is unique in the place where we are and what we have had revealed to us and therefore pursue.

This knowledge awakens in us more of our purpose as we move in truth.

It is only when we don’t see the value in something that we don’t pursue it, don’t grow in it, don’t desire it.

Unique gifts that God gives to each of us we discover as we pursue His voice and He reveals Himself in us.  Not as an optional extra but for a unique reason.

Truth is not a thing, or information, it is Jesus. He is constantly moving. He is alive. Not meant to be bottled and kept for use again as remedy. The need and the essence Jesus will keep modifying. We have to keep up and be in date.

God created His church throughout the generations for the revelation that is current and needed for the time and purpose in it.

Any area of truth that has become static has stopped growing. We must therefore not feel we are familiar and have it all sorted. The next moment will have a different hue and need. We don’t have time to become over familiar or bored.

“Familiarity breeds contempt “

It may be the same view but seen from the perspective of a higher level so much more comes into the frame.

It may be the same view but seen from a closer perspective so much more detail has clarity.

Therefore we can always see and know what we didn’t before as we pursue our relationship with God.

We see with new eyes. We seek to go deeper and seek to soar higher. We come with empty vessels and ask for more and He fills us.

The illustration shows Christ striding on the move with every purpose in the world, His Church, and each individual purposefully in His hand. Light emanating to push back the darkness.

Four Scriptures that come to mind:

“so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places.”Ephesians‬ ‭3:10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

““And when I passed by you and saw you wallowing in your blood, I said to you in your blood, ‘Live!’ I said to you in your blood, ‘Live!’ I made you flourish like a plant of the field. The song     Back To Life.                              Zahriya Zachary

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 636. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life.”

Disappointment is never where we are called to.

Our hope is in Jesus who is the tree of life and therefore we are never intended to settle for less or be discouraged. In life we come up against moments but He calls us always to re-engage with the source of life.

From that womb we bring forth new life and abundance. Hope is the expectation of God’s manifestation of goodness . We are refreshed in that triumph not in hopelessness.

“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

Our praise defies hopelessness and Jesus said that even if we failed to praise creation would.

‭‭ “He answered, “I tell you, if these were silent, the very stones would cry out.”

‭‭He always makes a way in any wilderness by pouring out afresh and bringing forth life to the scorched and parched places.

“Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

The new thing of rivers, springs and wells opening up to revive.

The spiritual battle is not envisaged well if our theology sees it as the battle between good and evil unfolding like a Greek myth with a Zeus like figure in heaven.

It is better viewed as the light illuminating the revelation of Christ versus the darkness where there is an absence of that revelation. The moment the light of revelation arrives it dissipates darkness.

“For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.”

We Christians, along with Christ, are the wellsprings of that light. We are not in a situation looking for that hope. We are the hope in the situation. We are part of the solution. We water others and the land.

Our new covenant, abiding in mindset is that we do not have to wait for the rain. We turn on the tap, we are switched and we can release and provide.

Be seen as a visible tree of hope. Our light confronts the darkness wherever we are.

We know what the promise is and have faith in it.

“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”

What we don’t receive in this life this side of the veil we know we will continue to receive in eternity as we become part of the cloud of witnesses.

“For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.”

It is better to die in faith than live in death.

In Christ death is not a defeat but a graduation to our eternal reward.

“Those who are in the flesh cannot please God.”

We are the hope that Christ will become known in the lives of others to bring forth their wellspring and hope of eternity.

The illustration shows the parched wilderness land with wellsprings of light bringing revelation of Christ to emanate light and push back the darkness.

Seven Scriptures that come to mind:

The song       The Christ The King.            Katie and Bryan Torwalt

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 635. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life [in the sense of indifference to or relative disregard for them in comparison with his attitude toward God]—he cannot be My disciple.”

God is our first love above all other and in that position our love for all will be of the best.

Emptying ourselves of all else we can be filled with Him and yet we will feel lonely.

The closer we get to Jesus the less we can take with us.

Jesus’ walk on earth was lonely. In the natural He was surrounded by family, friends, disciples and followers yet His walk with His Father in heaven was His first concern always. One that most did not understand.

His walk cost Him everything and in many ways it does us too.

The more others seem not to understand us the more we have to trust in the Lord to vindicate us.

The more we see His power as He moves our vision and perception of Him grows. He is altogether lovely.

It was His completely perfected sin free life that destroyed Satan Jesus plundered his power and the power of death and hell.

“Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil,”

Jesus redeemed what sin had cost mankind. God’s love for us and the sacrifice made brought pay back to satan justice had been revenged. The bondage we were in was broken and we were liberated when we believed in what Christ has done for us.

“and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.”

Now we are being purified by the conviction of the Holy Spirit in our lives. It mattered that we live with the life of Christ in us and put behind us our sinful ways. It is more important to have relationship with and know Jesus than to ask for any of the spiritual gifts that He also bestows on us because all those gifts are His anyway not ours.  They only become ours when we wear Him and encompass Him in our hearts.

When the end day conditions become so bad there will still be those who as His sheep hear His voice and those who are like goats and curse Him.

As Jesus was patient and long suffering so must we be and not give up.

“Look out for the dogs, look out for the evildoers, look out for those who mutilate the flesh. For we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh—”

Jesus is everything, the power, the purpose, the revelation unravelling always before us. Everything else we can consider as loss compared to that of knowing Christ in our lives.

“But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ”

Jesus descended to the lowest depth of hell to announce His victory and then ascended to be above all else.

Until we have revelation of Jesus our life is spent majoring on the minors.

Only knowing Jesus can we truly be liberated to major in the major keys.

He as our majestic King is above all else and fills the kingdom space that will not host the worthless enemy. We are delivered from his holds.

The complexity of it all vaporises into a simplicity that fills our soul with peace and joy.

They tied Jesus to a whipping post but they need not have bothered. He would have clung to it and have taken the lashings for us anyway.

They crushed a crown of thorns upon His head but He would have pierced himself for us.

Jesus is the reminder to satan that he is destroyed eternally and Christ is victorious.

Salvation sees Jesus as the meal and the host at the table at the same time.

Our heart sees Him and our hands  and lives become His conduit.

The illustration shows satan spinning the world upon an axis of sin and holding accusing us to be in bondage to it. The sacrificial blood of sinless Jesus at the cross redeems that bondage and God has His revenge on the enemy breaking the chains liberating us and washing us clean in the blood. Light emanating to push back the darkness.

Six Scriptures that come to mind:

““If anyone comes to Me, and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life [in the sense of indifference to or relative disregard for them in comparison with his attitude toward God]—he cannot be My disciple.”Luke‬ ‭14:26‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he [in behavior—one who manipulates]. He says to you, “Eat and drink,” Yet his heart is not with you [but it is begrudging the cost].” Proverbs‬ ‭23:7‬ ‭AMP‬‬

“Since therefore the children share in flesh and blood, he himself likewise partook of the same things, that through death he might destroy the one who has the power of death, that is, the devil,”. Hebrews‬ ‭2:14‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“and deliver all those who through fear of death were subject to lifelong slavery.” Hebrews‬ ‭2:15‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Look out for the dogs, look out for the evildoers, look out for those who mutilate the flesh. For we are the circumcision, who worship by the Spirit of God and glory in Christ Jesus and put no confidence in the flesh—”. Philippians‬ ‭3:2-3‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“But whatever gain I had, I counted as loss for the sake of Christ. Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ”Philippians‬ ‭3:7-8‬ ‭ESV‬‬

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 634. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“See, I have set before you today life and good, death and evil. I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse. Therefore choose life, that you and your offspring may live, loving the Lord your God, obeying his voice and holding fast to him, for he is your life and length of days, that you may dwell in the land that the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them.”

God delights in us and He connected us to His heart as He created us.

He held us in His hands and lovingly poured out His dream and purposes over each one of us.

The bible shows us, however,  that in the world there are equally blessings and curses set before us in life and our responsibility lies often in our choices.

We will all sin and fall short but can choose to repent and seek forgiveness.

“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,”

We have faith in the redemption of Christ’s blood shed once to bear our sins and for our forgiveness.

“And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.”

God is a good God always.

He is true to His promises but equally He is just and His covenants are binding.

The enemy takes advantage and takes upon himself legal rights when we or those generationally preceding us break away from God  and our iniquities are not dealt with to deliver us.

There is evidence in the bible that God will revisit sins in the generations in the hope of deliverance or there being a change of heart, to turn back from whatever is a pervasion.

“You shall not bow down to them or serve them; for I the Lord your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,”

There is evidence of His patience not to punish, Him waiting for 70 years, to pass to delay and give opportunity to turn around.

Then the  enemy has his pay back.

There is evidence of some famines and droughts etc being the pay back where the opportunities and warnings have continually been disregarded.

“Now there was a famine in the days of David for three years, year after year. And David sought the face of the Lord. And the Lord said, “There is bloodguilt on Saul and on his house, because he put the Gibeonites to death.”

There is evidence of what seemingly has been a previously unanswered prayer suddenly having authority and it is the time for it to be answered.

It is for God’s sake as well as the petitioners deliverance.

“O Lord, according to all your righteous acts, let your anger and your wrath turn away from your city Jerusalem, your holy hill, because for our sins, and for the iniquities of our fathers, Jerusalem and your people have become a byword among all who are around us. Now therefore, O our God, listen to the prayer of your servant and to his pleas for mercy, and for your own sake, O Lord, make your face to shine upon your sanctuary, which is desolate.”

Our decisions effect generations to come just as our predecessor’s decisions have effected us.

Each of us can look back through our bloodline and not only see physical, genetically resemblances but can see personality traits be they blessings or curses.

Our lives can be blessed and following the path that was meant to be or be diverted from that way when the enemy has been dealt an opportunity by our choices until we are freed from them and liberated again.

The cycle to breakthrough and receive healing and liberty is one the Holy Spirit draws us to.

We come before the Lord and ask Him to search our hearts, to reveal to us areas where the enemy can accuse us of wrong.

When it is revealed we recognise it and perhaps where it has been passed from the previous generation down.

We have been given the keys to the kingdom in Jesus’ example.

Repent, ask for forgiveness for predecessors and ourselves, break its power by turning away from it and also being forgiving towards those who hurt us and any we too may have passed on and perpetuated hurt to.

Take authority to defy the enemy any further rights to rob us in this area. To be gone. He has no power.

Receive all the power that God has in His dream and destiny for us. Pray for God to bless and protect us and our children.

It was His promise that He would keep His promise and bless to a thousand generations.  As for me and my house we are going to serve the Lord.

“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,”

The illustration shows where the enemy has pointed the finger, accused and robbed where he has rights because of sins in us and generations before us. God’s grace, forgiveness patience and revelation of Christ awaits His just revenge upon the enemy. The work of the Holy Spirit’s conviction emanates light that pushes back the darkness.

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 633. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.”

There is power in hanging on through thick and thin because we know the end of the story is victory.

We have been given Jesus Christ. The tree of life.

We will not be hurt, the provision has already been made.  We are sustained.

We do not remain static as an audience participator. We move forward to process the land as an army. We will not labour in vain.

“Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.”

We have to have the humility to accept that we can’t do it ourselves but only through Christ.

God opposes the proud.

We have to lay down our own agenda and accept that we no longer live but Christ lives in us.

This is where we rest in Him.

In His life Jesus modelled His willingness always to step down.

He took the form and likeness of man from His birth laying down His Godhead. He took on the roll of an equal to us. He took on the roll of the servant.

Conversely when we say we are not worthy and not good enough we do not trust God’s work in us.

That is denying Christ’s work on the cross. That is disempowering ourselves. We have only to trust God. Be obedient and accepting of what He calls us to.

Any despair or shame is symptomatic of choosing less than what God calls us to be, trusting in ourselves only in our pride and so robbing God the power to be who He is.

God is always good, maybe not always comfortable. His grace is divine enablement. We lay ourselves down to pick up something of greater value.

Awakening to this truth liberates us and has the domino effect of rippling through others.

Jesus is the Lion and the lamb in equal measure. Worthy on the throne having purchased the kingdom when He was slain.

His reign to be one of humility and love. Not politics and hatred. The name of Jesus exalted above all others. The rustle of His robe alone sending demons to flee.

“And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.” And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.”

The illustration shows laying down self and lifting up Christ awakens us and is beheld by others having a ripple on effect like dominoes falling. Emanating light that pushes back the darkness.

Three Scriptures that come to mind :

“The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭15:56-57‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in the way. He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way. All the paths of the Lord are steadfast love and faithfulness, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.” Psalm‬ ‭25:8-10‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“And one of the elders said to me, “Weep no more; behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has conquered, so that he can open the scroll and its seven seals.” And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.” Revelation‬ ‭5:5-6‬ ‭ESV‬‬

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 632. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.”

There is a call for us to first host each other and in doing that discover that we can host God and His glory too.

How can we expect to host Him when we don’t host each other.

“O Lord, I love the habitation of your house and the place where your glory dwells.”

His desire is to unravel our hearts to a capacity to receive new levels of love for one another.

We are as valuable to Him as the varying clay vessels were to life in the early centuries.

Created Pots arose out of shapeless, formless, useless slabs of clay.

Made for specific purposes essential to survival and sustainability not just as decorative artefacts of today.

When the potter failed to get it exactly right he bashed it down and reformed it out of the spoiled piece, time and again, until it was perfected.

“And the vessel he was making of clay was spoiled in the potter’s hand, and he reworked it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do.”

This is His way not to give up on what is spoiled in individuals nations, cultures.

He reforms and perfects. It doesn’t matter how spoiled it gets it is useable and can be perfected.

He absorbs our failures into Himself.

God can heal our past traumas, present pains and future anxieties. He will not pass us by.

Just as in the Bible, Bartimaeus was a blind beggar sitting by the roadside, who garnered Jesus’s attention.

“And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” And Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he recovered his sight and followed him on the way.”

The tables feel turned and it feels that God is calling out to us not to pass Him by.

There is freedom and liberation in attaching our gaze upon Him.

Relational and social atmospheres change daily.

To form new depths of family requires transition from just connection to relational. From community to family.

Love is the essential ingredient of belonging to one another. We are already well accustomed and attuned to how others affect us. It is a new concept when we consider how we affect others. We matter to others as much as they matter to us.

We fully belong and become More in His image as we radically open our hospitality.  It is the strategy modelled by Jesus throughout  the full gospel of Luke. He eats with, He feeds, He invites,  He shares and hosts and His miraculous accompanies.

As we open our doors to each other God will open His and shower down His supernatural provision and multiplication.

Radical hospitality and radical welcome draw others to Him. By hosting each other we shall host His glory and breakthrough.

We become vessels of welcome when we see beyond ourselves.

The illustration shows family and hospitality modelled as Jesus key to hosting breakthrough and glory where light emanates to push back the darkness.

Four Scriptures that come to mind:

“Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.” Hebrews‬ ‭13:2‬ ‭ESV

“O Lord, I love the habitation of your house and the place where your glory dwells.” Psalm‬ ‭26:8‬ ‭ESV‬‬

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 631. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“You will decide on a matter, and it will be established for you, and light will shine on your ways.”

We are called to be party to the solution in the world.

We are called to open our eyes and see and our ears to hear by the Holy Spirit. To realise what God has equipped us to do in these times.

“The hearing ear and the seeing eye, the Lord has made them both.”

We are called to be the yeast now that can multiply and permeate through the dough. Be the life that brings light into the darkness.

“The kingdom of heaven is like leaven that a woman took and hid in three measures of flour, till it was all leavened.”

We need to do more than pray against we need to be activators that revive all who have become paralysed in mid motion and action and disconnected.

What we declare and decree can partner and activate the history already within the scrolls in heaven of history that was, is and is to come.

Our maturity comes from being washed and saturated in the word of God which daily is being lit to reveal more of the hidden Christ within it.

The living word has to be what comes out of our hearts and mouths with every provocation that becomes exposed within the world.

Christ’s blood protects us from the confusion that surrounds us.

In Eden there was only one decision that brought downfall into the world.

Now there is but one decision to redeem life.

It is the solution. The belief in Jesus Christ as Lord.

We have to recognise how satan hinders us often in what we want or need.

“because we wanted to come to you—I, Paul, again and again—but Satan hindered us.”

We have to have discernment of the hindrance sometimes with words of knowledge or our senses.

We have to have solutions which come from the word and prophesy. We have to have wisdom which comes from Christ.

Sometimes we operate in all but frequently we need others in the body to share collaboratively and the five fold ministry of the church to cover all bases. We are meant to be revelatory not commentators.

God tells us to keep looking again and reveals what  is happening in the world and what is in Gods heart.

“And he said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel are committing here, to drive me far from my sanctuary? But you will see still greater abominations.” Then he said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it too light a thing for the house of Judah to commit the abominations that they commit here, that they should fill the land with violence and provoke me still further to anger? Behold, they put the branch to their nose.”

It is what God says not what the enemy is doing.

We have the duty to contend for the history that He would have in His scrolls not what has been sabotaged, delayed or abandoned because of the world.

Our activation, our decrees, our prayers make a difference.

“Now may our God and Father himself, and our Lord Jesus, direct our way to you, and may the Lord make you increase and abound in love for one another and for all, as we do for you,”

The illustration shows God’s hand hovering over the scrolls of history over the world and light emanating when we hear and see and collaboratively activate His will over that of the enemy’s being, pushing back the darkness.

BREAKOUT POSITIVE THOUGHTS. 630. ( Less is Greater, Greater is less .)

“and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”

Part of childlikeness is accepting living with mystery because we know we only know and understand in part.

That’s fine as a child and in itself opens us to access hidden aspects.

With later rationalising we are more resistant.

It opens us up too to God’s presence of seeing, knowing and believing without rational processing.

There is such simplicity in faith and trust, no matter what, without deeper understanding.

The child like that Jesus loved.

It was the foundation upon which each revelation, He later brings, can sit firmly upon.

We only have the opportunity to love, trust and have faith in this way while we journey this life on earth.

In heaven He will be before us unhidden.

In heaven our every need will be met and therefore a need no more.

In heaven there will be no pain.

In heaven there will be a knowing.

Whilst we will continue in our praise and worship it will not have the child like sweetness that our praise here on earth will have.

Jesus knows we will endure pain and hardship and will have to respond on the basis of our perceptions.

Now is our opportunity to love and respond to God in faith.

Now is an opportunity to sacrifice tears for joy.

Now is a blessed opportunity to find peace in His presence.

We need to see life from God’s perspective and have joy in it each day.

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. ”

In Jeremiah we see that although his circumstances did not change his perception of them did and reflected in his emotions as a result.

While we have less control over our complex emotions we do have control over our thoughts.

Life circumstances don’t define who we are, God does.

Filling our minds with the word and knowledge of God impacts our belief in God’s gift of belief and faith and hope.

Biblical hope is anticipation, expectancy and joy.

Not a maybe.

For example the concept of eternity removes the sting from death.

The measure with which we regard eternity defines our faith.

We are in the middle of a relay race where we are all the winners together.

We have clarification through the Holy Spirit  on what is of value and what is worthless.

God brings increase from loss. Good from a crisis.

“And Jesus answered them, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified. Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit. Whoever loves his life loses it, and whoever hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.”

We, if we are like children do not need explanation just the trust in His presence.

It is a priceless exchange and transaction that we have become part of.

When we honour Jesus the painful moments become those most precious.

The illustration shows Jesus close to the child like trust in mystery revealing more of Himself. Hope arching, His light emanating to push back the darkness.

Four Scriptures that come to mind:

“and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew‬ ‭18:3-4‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God. Truly, I say to you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a child shall not enter it.” Mark‬ ‭10:14-15‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.”Lamentations‬ ‭3:22-23‬ ‭ESV‬‬

“And Jesus answered them, “The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.
