“O our God, will you not execute judgment on them? For we are powerless against this great horde that is coming against us. We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.””
This is a season when more than ever it becomes necessary to take our eyes off ourselves and fix them on God. In so doing allow Him to be our shelter and be our warrior, to strengthen us and lead us into victory because we do not know what to do.
Jesus, in His life time, told parables that often were not understood but he took time to untangle their mystery with His disciples to reveal what they needed to understand.
“He never spoke to them without using parables, but would wait until he was alone with his disciples to explain to them their meanings.”
Now is not the time to pull away and make the tangles and knots tighter. We need to allow time to be still and let Him unravel understanding and weave revelation into knowledge and wisdom in our close proximity to His heart as we gaze into His eyes.
When we are distracted our focus on Him moves in and out of clarity. We have to remain close and focused to see the detail and not be derailed.
Have patience and endurance in the knowledge that what we are shown now may be preparation for what is to come.
God knows us intimately and our scrolls of destiny who better to put our total trust in? To keep in rhythm with in our hearts.
“My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.”
The enemy loves distracting us with doing, business, with being self reliant and activated in our own solution making to opposition.
God says simply. “Are you not mine?”
“But now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine.”
God matures us to endure. He gives us knowledge, wisdom and understanding which are all parts of Christs spirit seen in the lamp stand of revelation of Who He is in us.
His 7 eyes see all and are sent into all of the earth.
“And between the throne and the four living creatures and among the elders I saw a Lamb standing, as though it had been slain, with seven horns and with seven eyes, which are the seven spirits of God sent out into all the earth.”
He misses nothing and is tenacious and determined and is moving in this season.
“For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. You have done foolishly in this, for from now on you will have wars.”
We have access to Christ throughout the whole of this process. It is not our strength but His we receive as we rest in Him and He in us. We are His and we fulfil His purpose.
“for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.”
The illustration shows the hand and eye of God running to and fro over the earth illuminated and exposed by the lamp and Spirits of Christ. Light emanating to push back the darkness.
