“O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified. Let me ask you only this: Did you receive the Spirit by works of the law or by hearing with faith? Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?”
Our revelation right now is to not compromise in any area and to embrace the new.
Therefore blow away the old.
To be provoked to be radical as the new is birthed and to not allow the old season to eat this new season.
There is a wrestling with some not trusting the Spirit to find space and move freely.
For there to be revelation not tethered by sensationalism, politics, tradition or religion which need dismantling.
We have acquired the habit in our technological era to be happier to live with glitches in our devises rather than the losses we might insure by going back to factory, manufacturers setting and starting afresh but problem superior.
It is painful in our churches to restore and incure losses so we have a preference to continue with a glitch.
Lukewarm, passive will not suffice. Never has it been especially when God is preparing to pour out His Spirit immeasurably, from glory to glory.
“For he whom God has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit without measure.”
We have known God as Father, as friend we have to move into the relationship of the majesty of knowing our King. His reign and rule. His throne amidst us.
Self serving completely in the past as we serve Him.
Christians becoming as they were in the early church. From powerless to power filled.
“so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.”
It is as divine to end some things as to birth.
We end what causes confusion and chaos and man self made power and control.
We birth testimonies of miracles and wonders and bring clarity and signposts pointing to Christ.
Making self great de-weaponises us as it did those constructing the tower of Babel and creates more confusion. Christ made King tips the scales for a tidal wave of the best and perfect.
The Antichrist dethroned, toppled by the tue Christ.
When we are not in the right place at the right time Christ has to wait for us.
“Therefore the Lord waits to be gracious to you, and therefore he exalts himself to show mercy to you. For the Lord is a God of justice; blessed are all those who wait for him.”
Now more than any is time for us to get ourselves ready and in the right place with Him. To liberate ourselves and the next generation.
Knowing Him and fearing Him is key to being upgraded in revelation and having authority.
“The friendship of the Lord is for those who fear him, and he makes known to them his covenant.”
it is His wisdom not our own thoughts and ideologies that enable our survival in this season. Lies, deceptions or any other pollutants defile a sacred place where Christ is amidst us. The example has to be set by pure role modelling and testimony.
No more living in yesterday’s revelation and testimony.
We do not want revival of the past nature but a reformation.
The illustration shows us blowing the old away and embracing eating of the new and ferociously protecting the new from being eaten by the old. The light emanating to push back the darkness.
Four Scriptures that come to mind:
“O foolish Galatians! Who has bewitched you? It was before your eyes that Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified.
