The finger print of God.
I love the idea that Gods finger prints are all over me and You.
He created me body soul and mind.
I am unique.
Not only in my finger print but in my whole being.
That is amazing and wonderful for each one of us.
Also we have a place and purpose in this universe.
Our being and our density moves the atmosphere in ripples just as a pebble tossed into water will send out circles and ripples which spread wider and wider.
Ever increasing circles of effect.
So do we have purpose and effect, from the moment even before we are conceived, enter this world, leave it and going on into eternity.
Our being has had significance and will continue to do so for generations.
God is a God of multiplication.
The shape I have made and become will go on and on.
We might ponder upon who might carry those fragments, lessons, wisdoms, likenesses on.
Yes, there are the obvious ones but also I can dredge up in the circles of my mind so many who have influenced me and who I am throughout my years.
Pondering I can even attribute the influence of a person 2000+ years ago when I relate to Jesus!
The loves and hates of subjects linked to teachers and how they portrayed them.
The openness of heart related to how often I was hurt or comforted by set individuals in both childhood and adulthood.
The people who have been instrumental in my faith and knowledge of Jesus.
Those and so many more fingerprints on me
My finger prints undoubtedly are on others too who I have influenced for good or for bad.
Wow! Life is so complex. Expertly woven as it flows into the formation of each of our beings. More amazing is that non of it has been an accident.
God has seen and traced every step willing us to our purpose but having to be patient in His faithfulness to allow us freedom of choice.
He knows the number of hairs on our head, the finger print alongside our name, the displacement and extent of our influence in time and space that we make.
He has calculated exactly our beginning our end and the effect in between.
Our God is a Great big God and He holds us in His hand.
The illustration shows us centre of an identity and part of a unique finger print. The multitude of ripples we create into eternity.
Three scriptures Which come to mind:
“Nevertheless, I am continually with you; you hold my right hand. You guide me with your counsel.” Psalm 73:23-24 ESV
“For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.””Isaiah 41:13 ESV
“Behold, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.”Isaiah 49:16 ESV
Song Our God is a Great big God.
Good morning Jan
I just got myself in a bit of a tizz as I couldn’t find you! You had strangely gone to spam but I have retrieved you! My routine is to do Zoom prayers and then read your blog after I was thrown when I could not find you! hahaha I love today’s illustration. I keep drawing and writing of spirals x I love the idea of God’s finger print and being touched x beautiful x So how are you now the sun has gone in ? I made myself ( Have become apathetic) have a walk around the woods this morning. Everything was so green and lush and that woody blossomy green scent was heady. Meanwhile we cleaned our camper van out this week. Sort of in an optimistic we can be ready kind of way … wishful thinking but must have hope. I am still thinking of Kay’s words which have stayed with me ; hope and mystery. That and giving all my sadness and my true self to God . Playing around with imagery in drawings and paint. As usual sending love over the fences!Love Jude x

Hi Jude, So pleased you found me hiding in Spam! Sounds like a line out of The Lion The Witch and the Wardrobe! Another far of country called Ward Robe!
I love that you are finding some gems for your swag bag of healing, from the blogs and words from such people as Kay. They are gifts from God which come together to make the jewelled mosaic all the more precious to you. Strangely it links very much unto my line of thoughts at the moment which will probably spill out into next weeks blogs!
Personally missing blue skies already but some refreshing is much needed I know!
Won’t see you for exhaust then when lift off for overnights comes for camper vans! I am considering whether to keep or sell as running 2 vehicles is expensive if it’s majority of time is stationary on a drive, as beautiful as it is!
Shall look forward to seeing all the a imagery art work when we can reach over the fences more easily! Take care. Lovely to hear from you. Xx
copied and pasted to email to see which pigeon lands first!
