“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
The Lord is raising up sons of light.
“I have come into the world as light, so that whoever believes in me may not remain in darkness.”
He is removing the soiled garments that result when we live a part in the enemies lies and he is clothing us in new garments.
We are beautified in His image and He places His light within us to shine in the darkness in this world.
When we walk in the darkness we do not know where we are going and get lost and stumble.
“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.”
In this hour it is even more important to be equipped by knowing the word. We are born for this hour and this time.
The seed He planted within us is being unpacked, unfurled, unveiled, identified, illuminated.
Daniel prophesied that we would be illuminated and that revelation would be sealed and hidden until such time as it would be meant to be understood.
The ultimate unveiling of Christ in us will transfigured us to bring into sight His full reality. An insatiable desire to know Him and to witness how He becomes the solution.
That witness in turn will transfer His virtue to drip from us too and reveal more of His glory in the future.
The Light is transformative. He will reign through us on earth as we become the bride in preparation for His return. The world will not be transformed until the church, the body, the bride has first transformed.
We carry The peace, light and compassion as we yield to Christ.
Ours is not to worry and try to understand the how’s and wherefores but to intercede and pray for that overarching harvest and revival that is promised.
Things of the temporal are trumped by the supernatural and spiritual realm, aligning with God’s heart, design and desire.
The next generation need the revelation of the Light Shining in the light of His glory they will arise in the darkness.
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
Light pours out of Jesus and overpowers the darkness and in clothing us in that same light with that same power we shall do likewise in the world until His coming again.
We stand as one with One who is perfect peace, joy and love.
His spotlight shone upon us sets us free to be who we were predestined to be in His kingdom.
His beauty becomes visible in our lives bringing the spirit of illumination and revelation.
The unveiling, the disclosure, the manifestation, the revelation of Christ to others. Scales of limitation pop off their eyes too.
We all arise and shine for His light has come. Our future is bright and full of hope.
The illustration shows the light which pours out of Jesus is like a spotlight which illuminates sin but which also overcomes the darkness. That unveiled light is to equally pour out of us to transform and transfigured the world. Creating a church, body and bride awaiting her bridegroom.
Six Scriptures that come to mind:
