“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.”
Jesus is teaching us to stand firm in the midst of chaos. He teaches us to rest in peace in the presence of wolves.
The evidence of supernatural resistance and attack tells us that the enemy is in fear of what is on the move.
Our expectation of the manifestation of a mighty move of the Holy Spirit of the Lord is imminent.
Darkness is the absence of Light. Conflict is the absence of Christ.
“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.”
In Genesis God hovered in the darkness over the waters and then divided light from darkness.
“The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness.”
We can be reassured that God makes provision for us in the world where the enemy is present .
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.”
We are in the middle of God’s new redemptive purpose.
As His body we are called to now create and bring order out of chaos. We co-reign and learn how to rule in the midst of chaos and bring order.
In governance that is our role not the role of politicians and government. Now He is teaching us that it is our opportunity to live in the full understanding of this.
We are rising as a supernatural expression of the Spirit of God on earth.
We are more desperate and hunger to be authentic as we have increasingly become a generation who are allergic to religion.
The more the Father reveals His heart we realise it to be radically supernatural.
Ready for a bold response to the hostility of mockers.
Peter jumped forward to retaliate against the mockers at Pentecost as the Holy Spirit empowered the church.
Those who were disrupters were knocked back as Thousands became believers immediately.
God is preparing another generation for such transformation.
Darkness cannot extinguish the Light.
The enemy fears loosing his stronghold when he knows true authentic praise and worship is arising from those who know Christ powerfully.
“You have built a stronghold by the songs of children. Strength rises up with the chorus of infants. This kind of praise has power to shut Satan’s mouth. Childlike worship will silence the madness of those who oppose you.”
When someone discovers they are pregnant a new life is expected and they expectantly prepare and make ready for the birth. Just as we, expectant of new life in the body of church, are expectant and excited in anticipation.
We sense resistance and should be happy because it endorses that the awaited arrival is closer.
Shining ones are emerging. We have our being in The Shining One, Christ. What may seem to be but small in number will outsize in the brightness of the love, peace and joy arising.
The world can change and believe in the Kingdom of God.
The enemy and his demons will diminish to a dot by comparison to the expansion and magnitude of His Kingdom.
The illustration shows the warfare of evil overcome by good as praise and worship that emanates light that pushes back the darkness.
