“Then their eyes were [suddenly] opened [by God] and they [clearly] recognised Him; and He vanished from their sight. They said to one another, “Were not our hearts burning within us while He was talking with us on the road and opening the Scriptures to us?”
The chords and rhythms of where we walk now are those of anticipation for a new formation of the kingdom to arise on the horizon.
The enemy wants to numb us into a sense of defeat feeling nothing changes and all is in vain.
Fixing our eyes only on Jesus we retain the hope and faith. We ignore the counterfeit. See Him clearly and all things will be added.
We need the eternal perspective that the well prepared soil holds all the nutrients to nourish the seed through what externally appears a dormant time.
Enemy bombardment torments and hypnotises us and tries to suspend life.
Jesus alone provides to enable us to break through and burst forth with a strong abundant life in season and timing with Him.
“And my God will liberally supply (fill until full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
We remain where we are like statues to stretch and grow into our new place as we hear the music or direction to move again. Then, beholding God we will put our hand upon the right thing.
“Set your mind and keep focused habitually on the things above [the heavenly things], not on things that are on the earth [which have only temporal value].”
He restores our hand eye coordination and breaks off futility as we collaborate and get the order right by His example. It is not placing ourselves in our own strength and then asking if we are right.
We release the handbrake that has contained us and allow Him to lead and guide and get our notes in the right order for the tune. Underneath our spontaneity there has been the season of discipline and training. The beauty comes from the humility of handing over to God. It is allowing Him to flex and shine through in the spot light.
Our response to but weep as our soul and spirit connect in His presence. He stirs and clears us from the contamination of the world.
There is imminence as we hover frozen in the crest of the wave that is about to break.
The illustration shows our intimacy to see Jesus clearly, to connect and know how to respond to His heart and rhythm to emanate His light that pushes back the darkness.
